The God Who Strengthens His Servants

Kingdom Prayer Prompts — Nehemiah 6:9

Monday, July 27 — Strengthen Our Hands for the Work

Old Testament: Nehemiah 6:9

New Testament: Philippians 4:13

Kingdom Prayer: Father, hallowed be Your name in our lives and churches. As Nehemiah prayed, “But now, O God, strengthen my hands,” strengthen us through the risen Christ for every work You have assigned. Break the power of fear, discouragement, and weariness. Demonstrate Your strength through our weakness so that the Gospel advances, Your Kingdom mission is fulfilled, and Jesus Christ receives glory alone.

Tuesday, July 28 — Guard Us from Distraction

Old Testament: Isaiah 26:3

New Testament: Hebrews 12:1–2

Kingdom Prayer: Lord, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in us. Fix our minds upon Christ and keep our hands from dropping because of criticism, temptation, or distraction. Remove everything that competes with our devotion to Jesus. Strengthen us to run faithfully, serve obediently, and finish the work before us so that Your power is displayed and Christ is exalted.

Wednesday, July 29 — Renew the Weary Servant

Old Testament: Isaiah 40:29–31

New Testament: 2 Corinthians 12:9

Kingdom Prayer: Gracious Father, give us today the strength we need to serve You faithfully. Renew pastors, missionaries, church leaders, and weary believers. Let the sufficiency of Christ’s grace rest upon every weakness. Demonstrate Your sustaining power by restoring joy, courage, and endurance, enabling Your servants to continue making disciples and proclaiming Christ.

Thursday, July 30 — Strengthen Us Against Spiritual Opposition

Old Testament: 2 Chronicles 20:15

New Testament: Ephesians 6:10–11

Kingdom Prayer: Mighty God, deliver us from evil and strengthen us in the Lord and in the power of His might. Guard Your Church from deception, division, compromise, and fear. Clothe us with the armor of God and make us steadfast in prayer, Scripture, holiness, and Gospel witness. Display Christ’s victory through an obedient Church that refuses to retreat.

Friday, July 31 — Finish the Work for Christ’s Glory

Old Testament: Zechariah 4:6

New Testament: Philippians 1:6

Kingdom Prayer: Faithful Father, Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Complete the work You have begun in us and accomplish Your mission through the power of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen our hands to serve, our hearts to love, our voices to proclaim, and our feet to go. May lives be transformed, disciples be made, churches be strengthened, and Christ alone receive all praise.

Kingdom Reflection

The enemy desires for our hands to drop and God’s work to remain unfinished, but the Lord has not called us to labor in our own strength. Each day, let us look to Jesus, depend upon the Holy Spirit, and pray with faithful confidence: “But now, O God, strengthen my hands.”
